and we want to stop living in a hurry!

We are a couple living and working in an mobil home

Nomad Studio is a professional and life project by Eli Garmendia and Carlos Pericás.
Nomad Studio is both a home and a creative studio on wheels.

It took us 10 months since we got our motor home prepared for this journey, a journey without a definite date of return. With much love and excitement, we worked hard to transform an old RV into our cozy home and workplace.

In April 2018 we embarked in this huge lifestyle change, in which the main factor we were looking for was a change of rhythm. We don’t usually like fancy words, but somehow we identify with the trend of “minimalism” and “slow living”, that means that we want to pursue a simpler life, cut down on our belongings. We can live with less. We want to lead a slower pace of life to really enjoy what we do and the things that surround us. We discovered that our home on wheels is just the perfect way to achieve that.

Besides this lifestyle change that we are so eager to experience, we wanted to get out of big cities and reconnect with nature. We had been living in a city for many years now, and when raising the possibility of moving from the city to the heart of nature, our first question was: who actually lives there?

This is how hundreds of other questions surrounding inhabitants of nature arose. That being so, we decided to try to satisfy our curiosity through our projectWho lives there?”. Throughout nomad life we will explore National Parks and rural areas with the objective to find and meet these people.

This project is being financed by our own work as Nomad Studio, but it is thanks to the support of friends, family, companies and entities that one way or another they push us forward.
